August Grading

The August Grading is scheduled for Friday August 27th, starting at 6PM.

Those that are eligible to grade must confirm their attendance to Dai Si Hing Rob, and fill out their Grading Request Form.

If you are Grading, please be at the Academy by 530PM to receive instructions and prepare.

Family and Friends are most welcome.

Due to the Grading taking place, there will be no 6PM class.

Fantastic effort by Green Belt student Dan McLaughlin, who attended every single class available to him this week.

Out of the 15 classes he attended, 13 were Ging Mo, and 2 were Tai Chi.

Huge event, keep up the good work!

Senior Instructor Grading Part 2.5

We are pleased to announce that their will be an additional evening in which Si Hing Ben Hardy and Naomi Boonman will have the opportunity to share their Kung Fu knowledge with you, as part of their Grading to Senior Instructor.

Named part 2.5 of the Senior Instructor Grading, it will be held on Friday July 30th, starting promptly at 6PM. Content will include Blue, Purple and Brown Belt.

The 430 PM Friday 30th class will be finishing at 5:45PM that evening.

As per the last 2 sections, you will need to attend in full Ging Mo Academy Uniform. Once again, can all guests please be pre approved by Say Si Hing Nic.

The final part to their Grading, will take place as previously scheduled, at 12 Midday on Saturday 31st July.

Senior Instructor Grading

The time has come once again, for two 3rd Term Instructors to take the final steps of their Instructor Course, and participate in a grading to become Senior Instructors.

Si Hing Ben Hardy and Naomi Boonman will be doing their grading in 3 stages. The first 2 stages will take place on Friday nights in July, with the final stage taking place on Saturday July 31st.

This is a big occasion for these 2 Instructors, and is a culmination of years of hard work. We look forward to sharing this event with you.

The 2 Friday parts are considered closed events, which means that only current training members can attend and view. To take part, full Academy uniform must be worn. For any ex students that wish to spectate, permission must first be granted by Say Si Hing Nic. Please make sure you check first, to avoid any disappointments on the night.

For the final part of the Grading, all family and friends are welcome.

June Grading Date Change

We have decided to move the date of the June Grading from Sunday 27 June, to the following Friday, July 2nd.

The Grading will start at 6PM sharp, please arrive by 530PM at the latest to prepare and receive final instructions.

As always, friends and family are all welcome.

Weekender Postponed

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Academy Team has decided to postpone the Weekender that was originally scheduled for this weekend (4-7 June).

We are looking at a date in November 2010 as the new date.

More details will come once we have confirmation.

The Academy will be open as normal on Friday and Saturday, with classes running as per schedule.

Please call the Academy to speak to Say Si Hing Nic if there are any questions.

Academy Closures June

Just a reminder to all students that the Ging Mo Academy will be closed from 2PM on Friday June 4, and will remain closed over the Long Weekend. That means that there will be no Saturday morning Tai Chi class, or Kung Fu Class.

All the Instructors will be down in Dwellingup for the Weekender.

For those that still wish to come to the Weekender, it is imperative that you confirm your spot by paying ASAP.

Weekender Update

As most of you will be aware, the 2010 Weekender is fast approaching.

Thank You to those who have all ready paid, and for those that have yet to do so, please make it a priority.

Now, it gives the Ging Mo Academy great pleasure to announce that we will have a special guest instructor for the Weekender this year.

Dai Si Hing Graham Howard (known as Si Sook Graham to us), will be attending the Weekender, and will be an guest instructor.

This will be a unique opportunity to hear from Si Sook Graham, who trained under Si Fu, and was teaching out of the Brisbane Academy during the 90’s.

Although he does not teach in the same capacity at present, he is still a consummate practitioner of Ging Mo Kune, and will undoubtably provide a enriching experience to all students.

The Academy is very excited to have Si Sook Graham over to share this amazing weekend with us!
